Step By Step
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FOOT
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Piece of Paper
- Pen / Pencil
- Ruler / Tape Measurer
STEP 1: PREPARE
Sit down on a chair with your feet firmly placed in the centre of a piece of A4 paper.
STEP 2: DRAW
Holding the pencil perfectly vertically and perpendicular to the paper, trace around the perimeter of the foot as closely as possible without angling the pencil in or out.
STEP 3: MEASURE
Foot Length: Using the ruler, measure the distance from the very bottom of the heel to the top of the longest toe.
Foot Width: Measure the width between the widest points of each foot. (Typically, this is just behind the toes, at the ball of your foot.)
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR CALF
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Tape Measurer
STEP 1: PREPARE
Take a seat with your feet flat on the floor and knees at a 90-degree angle, this will mean your calf is at its widest.
STEP 2: MEASURE HEIGHT
Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your calf without leaving any spaces but not too tight.
STEP 3: MEASURE WIDTH
Measure the external side of the calf, starting from the base of the foot to the bend of your knee.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR ANKLE
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Tape Measurer
STEP 1: PREPARE
Take a seat with your feet flat on the floor to allow for comfortable and precise measurement.
STEP 2: MEASURE
Measure around the narrowest part of the ankle, which is normally just above the ankle bone.

- Non-stretch Cord / String
- Ruler
STEP 1: MEASURE
Replace the steps above to take your appropriate measurements, placing the string on the skin without tightening.
STEP 2: CONVERT
Measure the string with a ruler to get your circumference in cm.
